Liquid Gold is NC A&T's plus sized dance team. The creation of Liquid Gold was inspired by the weight restrictions that society puts on dancers. The sole purpose of Liquid Gold is to create a safe space for plus-size dancers to build confidence in themselves and their craft without judgment or discrimination. The importance of the creation of this organization is that Liquid Gold promotes body positivity through dance and allows all to express themselves while within this community, thus uplifting self-love, beauty, and elegance despite shape or size. We plan for this campus and the world to see that even though we may not fit society's modern standards, we can still do the same things that other people can.
