Happy summer everybody!  It has been super hot lately!  So Megan Blake, The Pet Lifestyle Coach®, and Smiley have some good info for us.  When Smiley worked as a dog actor on his last Hallmark Channel film, he and Megan got to talk with the Animal Welfare Officer, and they learned a very interesting fact!

Pavement that has been in the sun can be over 20 degrees hotter than the air temperature!  That can put it up over 100-120 degrees easily!   Hot enough to burn a dogs paw pads, and that is a serious injury!  Watch their video to learn more so you can take care of your sweet dog’s feet!
