Abstract Collage with GreenHill

Writer: gsodowntownparksgsodowntownparks

Join our friends at GreenHill Center for NC Art, as we take a deep dive into abstract collage, like artist Felicia Van Bork. Van Bork's work is featured in GreenHill's NC Women Abstract Painters exhibit. Instructor, Ms. Jaymie will walk us through looking at Van Bork's collages, and then show us how to make one of our own!

Now let's make an abstract collage of our own!

Supplies:

  • Colored paper - don't have ready-made paper? Make your own! You can paint paper pieces, color them with crayons or colored pencils - anything will work

  • Scissors

  • Glue

GreenHill is a Greensboro Downtown Parks program partner. The work they do with us is critical to providing FREE visual art programming to our park community. As we make our way through these unprecedented times, consider how you might support local Greensboro non-profits like us and GreenHill, as well as small businesses, artists, entrepreneurs, makers, and more. We'll continue to bring you free programming through our digital platforms and look forward to having you join us and GreenHill back in the parks soon!
