Food Truck Friday Grooves: May Lineup

Join us for some good eatin' and some live music every Friday from 11am-2pm! Food truck Fridays are back and better than ever with live music! Each Friday will feature different trucks offering a variety of tasty eats. So come out, grab a bite, and enjoy the fresh air while listening to amazing local talent in Center City Park.



May 7th, 11am-2pm: Abigail Dowd


Abigail Dowd is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who grew up in the Sandhills region North Carolina .She is known for her storytelling ability and the way she can take command of an audience. Her soulful voice and picked, classical guitar style hints at Celtic melodies and the soulful gospel of the south to form beautiful music that wavers between folk, rock, and blues.

May 14th, 11am-2pm: David Childers


North Carolinian David Childers, who happens to be an attorney by trade, is an acclaimed Americana artist who writes tough, literary tunes informed by heartland rock, country music, folk music, small towns, and lonesome highways.

May 21st, 11am-2pm: Andrew Kasab


Andrew Kasab is an American fingerstyle guitarist, harp guitarist and singer-songwriter. He is known for combining traditional and contemporary techniques, energetic performances, arrangements of modern works for the guitar and harp guitar and occasionally plays harmonica and ukulele.

Debbie The Artist is a black, gender-queer, artist and educator who believes in the power of art and culture to empower marginalized voices through radical community based knowledge sharing. They consider music-making to be the universal language of their creative talents, allowing them to capture audiences' attention and connect with people from all walks of life.
