Like many parents, health coach, Cheri Timmons knows the number of lunches you have made for your children since mid-March has likely spiked well beyond what you would have expected. That's why Cheri is here to share her three lunch blueprints to help you in your efforts to make lunch fun, engage your child in the process and make healthful food choices more appealing.
From Cheri:
Hey Moms and Dads!
Let’s talk lunch.
The number of lunches you have made for your children since mid-March has likely spiked well beyond what you would have expected…pre-coronavirus.
Speaking for myself, I relied on hot lunches at my son’s school at least 2 – 3 times each week. This always gave me a nice break from lunch-duty a few days a week and gave him some fun and different foods to enjoy.
Well, since our kiddos stopped going to school three months ago (due to the stay-at-home orders of coronavirus) AND adding in the fact that it is now summer and they are certainly hanging at home – you very well may be feeling DONE with the whole lunch thing.
My hope is that today’s post might breathe some much needed relief and renewed creativity into your lunch-making bag of tricks!
The food we choose for nourishing our children’s bodies has such an impact on their whole-person wellness. Exploring fun and healthful food choices (for your entire family) is at the heart of the ideas provided here.
So…you are in the right place if you are ready to:
Get creative with food
Make fun and nutritious lunches your child will eat
Up-level your own lunches
I have designed three lunch blueprints to help you in your efforts to make lunch fun, engage your child in the process and make healthful food choices more appealing.
