June Lineup: Food Truck Friday Grooves

Join us for some good eatin' and live music every Friday from 11am-2pm! Food truck Fridays are back and better than ever! Each Friday will feature different trucks offering a variety of tasty eats. So come out, grab a bite, and enjoy the fresh air while listening to amazing local talent in Center City Park. Full series food truck lineup here.

June 4th, 11am-2pm: Butter


Butter is Brad Newell's rock trio, playing a mix of funky original songs and classic cover material. As winners of Relix Magazine's Jam-Off, the band received special coverage in the publication and enjoyed a wide variety of performance opportunities across the state of NC. Their soulful sound revolves around a strong rhythm section, tied together with Brad's intricate guitar solos.

June 11th, 11am-2pm: Josh Boyd


Percussionist Josh Boyd, also known as Josh on the Block, is all about bringing his music outdoors. Once, he took his drum kit to the corner of Battleground and Pisgah Church, entertaining the passing rush hour traffic. Motivated by an upbeat attitude and love for feel-good music, his groovy fills and fun beats are sure to entertain any crowd.


Food Trucks:

June 18th, 11am-2pm: Zoo City Pickers


Based in Asheboro, the Zoo City Pickers bring their bright bluegrass, country, and folk sounds all over NC. With a vast instrumentation including banjo, guitar, upright bass, mandolin, and harmonica, this group will have you tapping your toes and singing along! The band previously performed in GSO at the Festival of Lights and Tunes at Noon, and they look forward to returning!

June 25th, 11am-2pm: Cesar A. Oviedo


Cesar A. Oviedo is a bass player and Recording Engineer based in Franklinville, North Carolina. His performance will include Latin jazz selections that highlight both his talent and cultural background.
